FAQ

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We only take payment once your order has been shipped. We also accept payment by PayPal or you may use our pay over time option - Affirm. If you decide to use either of these two methods, you’ll be taken to either the PayPal or Affirm website, where you’ll be prompted to log in and process your payment. You’ll then be directed back to our merchant website once your transaction is complete.

Where is my refund?

We aim to process refunds within three days of an item being returned to us. Please note, however, that your bank may take several days to process the payment back into your account. With that said, please allow up to ten working days after posting the item back to us before getting in touch about your refund. We’ll contact you by email to let you know when your refund has been processed.

Ordering and delivery

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within 24 hours, please get in touch at dmvcpr.info@gmail.com just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Please accept our apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, please place a new order online.

What countries do you ship to?

We only ship to the continental U.S. at this time. We are looking forward to expanding our reach in the future. If you have any questions about shipping, please email us at dmvcpr.info@gmail.com.

Returns

Can I return or exchange an item?

You can absolutely return your item to us, within 14 days after receiving it, as long as it’s undamaged, unused and contained in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached. Unfortunately, we don’t offer exchanges, but once your return has occured, you can create a new order that we would be happy to fulfill.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via dmvcpr.info@gmail.com with the details. We’ll respond within 48 hours. If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return, providing it’s in “as new” condition, in its original packaging with all labels and packaging intact. You may be responsible for return shipping.

Technical

Do you only provide cell phone repairs?

No. We are experts in technical repairs. This means we are expected to repair desktop computers, laptops, tablets (e.g., iPads), gaming consoles, handycams, CCTV cameras and more. Please reach out to us through out contact page or visit us at one of our store locations for assistance.

Is this only a repair shop, or do you sell and buy devices too?

Besides repairing, and unlocking devices, we also sell and buy them.

We carry major brands like Apple and Samsung. We have used, new, and refurbished phones on a daily basis in store, but we do also ship nationwide! Outside of that we do have specials where we have PS5s, smart watches, tablets, computers, drones, etc.

Have an old device sitting around? Looking to update to the newest model? We also have a buy back program.

Check out our site to see our inventory or stop by one of our store locations.

Does your team unlock phones?

Yes we do. Although not every device is able to be unlocked. It is usually dependent on the payment and blacklist status of the device, if a device is paid off and also has not been reported lost or stolen – it will usually go through with the unlock. Any and all devices are subject to being denied unlocking.

What does it mean to unlock a phone?

When a cell phone is “locked,” it can only be used on the cellular carrier that sold you the phone. An unlocked cell phone can be used on any network that is compatible with the phone’s wireless technology, such as GSM and CDMA networks. In some countries, cellular providers are required to unlock your cell phone after your contract expires. Of course, you can buy unlocked cell phones to begin with and then activate them with the wireless carrier of your choice.

How can I pinpoint the issue with my device?

We offer a chargeable diagnostic test to anyone who brings their cell phone to us. We will tell you what’s wrong with your device, how we’re going to fix it, and how much it will cost. Then you can decide to have your phone repaired with us or not. If you agree for repair then the diagnostic charge will be waived off. Otherwise it is non-refundable.

Isn't it cheaper to fix my phone at home?

It might seem cheaper, but you cannot put a price on expertise and knowledge that has been gained over the past decade. If you opt to buy the right tools, you’re looking at spending a minumum of hundreds of dollars just to repair your glass screen at home. This would not include genuine quality parts, the time it takes to complete the repair, and would not be backed by a warranty if something went wrong. Also, doing this can be dangerous, let alone difficult. Despite all the life hack videos available online, it is best to let the professionals fix your phone. We are backed by Apple and other vendors and have a wonderful warranty to protect you.

Are you able to fix water/liquid damage?

We can, although the repair success rate for water/liquid-damaged phones is usually about 75 percent. Some of the time, there is nothing we can do – but we will tell you before you ever pay us for our time. We do not give warranty on water and/or liquid damaged device repairs
